Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1     Fly Delhi to Leh 3500 meters
In the morning flight to Leh via crossing over the Himalayan Mountains. On arrive in Leh we advise you to be fully rest for acclimatisation, because Leh is situated 3500 meter or 11500 ft above sea level.

Day 2     In Leh 3500 meters
We begin our sightseeing Shey the old capital of Ladakh. Perched on top of a huge rock are the royal palace and temple adorned with brilliantly coloured murals and a 7.5 meters copper - gilt statue of the 17th century Buddha. 

Stok Palace across the river Indus is the home of the former royal family of Ladakh. The palace museum, where has a collection of beautiful royal costume and jewellers, exquisite Thangkas (a religious themes, icons painted and embroidered on cloth).

Day 3     Drive to Lamayuru 3500 meters
Today we are heading to Lamayuru 3500 meter and before village Nimoo, where the confluence of the river Indus and Zanskar. In Basgo the 17th century ruins fort, where we visit the temple of copper-gold and clay of Buddha. The Lamayuru monastery is the oldest in Ladakh and well knew for their strategic location.

Day 4     Drive to Leh 
We heading back to Leh via visit 11th century Alchi monastery, built by Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo. The monastery main attraction is the fresco paintings and statues, which are the under list of UNISCO.

Day 5     Drive to Nubra (crossing Khardong-la 18000ft pass)
Along the eastern ridge of the Karakorum ranges in northern of Ladakh is the Nubra valley. Today we crossing the Khardong-la 18000ft pass and it is highest motor able road in the world. The pass is the ancient trade route from Leh to Central Asia. The breathtaking view from the pass surveys an entire length of the Indus valley in the south and a magnificent panorama of snow clad peaks. The route follows the valley past attractive village to Disket and onward to Hunder down the Shayok valley the trail wanders past rolling sand dunes. In Hunder there is a small population of the double humped Bactrian camels and if wish you can experience with camel ride on sand dunes.

Day 6     Visit Turtuk 3000 meters
The north of Leh Turtuk is the last village up to which traveller get permission to visit and is inhabited by the Balti people of Tibetan decent.

Day 7     Drive to Leh
We drive back to Leh, same route via Khardong-la pass.

Day 8     In Leh
This morning short drive to join the Thiksey monastery Puja (Prayer). The monastery is most imposing structure providing a panoramic view of the Indus valley from its vantage point atop a hill. The 15th century Thiksey Monastery you can see the magnificent 40ft high, Buddha statue. After sightseeing you can explore Leh local market purchase a souvenir for your families and friends.

Day 9     Fly Leh to Delhi
Today you have a short drive to Leh airport, to catch the flight to Delhi.  (trip concludes)
