Excellent Guide
Our guide Yangjore has a wealth of information about Ladakh and the surrounding regions. His passion for this region comes through as he explains the history and the contemporary heritage of the people. This sounds very serious, and often it was, as people struggle to survive in a harsh environment, but Yangjore also made us laugh with his jokes and sense of humor. He is an excellent guide, able to impart knowledge in a way that we could understand, but more importantly he is also a caring and considerate individual. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Ladakh and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Seven Friends and I camped and trekked in the Markha Valley for 7 days with Watse Expeditions.The trip was planned perfectly by Yangjore and he and his team looked after us incredibly well. When you travel with Yangjore, of Watse Expeditions, you know that everything will be taken care of, whether you are staying in a luxury hotel, a humble home-stay or in a tent. Yangjore has indefatigable energy and is very enterprising as well. He is never less than cheerful and never at a loss for solutions to problems. He is also very knowledgeable and can be trusted to provide both information and anecdotes. My last trip involved trekking, as well as visits to Ladakh ancient sites and other places of interest. In the evenings, there was merriment and companionship what better combination could you want? I plan to return soon and am looking forward to seeing Yangjore again. Not only is he an excellent travel organiser, flexible and resourceful, but he also has a heart of gold and works to help disadvantaged children in remote villages.

Lucky Trip
In November 2005 my husband and I were lucky enough to have a trip to India and ever luckier to have Yangjore for our guide. It was an amazing trip which we thoroughly enjoyed and made even more enjoyable by Yangjore. Yangjore was able to make us all (young and old) feel special and well cared for. His knowledge of his country is immense and his friendly and caring ways were appreciated by all. I still communicate with Yangjore and can thoroughly recommend his expeditions to everyone.
