Day 1 Arrive In Delhi
On arrival in Delhi you will be transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 In Delhi
In Delhi we begin our sightseeing with Rack Shaw ride explores Chandni Chowk. Now a busy commercial centre, Chandni Chowk was a grand processional thoroughfare that let from Red Fort to Jami Masjid and old Delhi was the capital of Mughals emperor Shah Jahan. Humayun the second Mughal empire and after his death his senior widow, Haji Begum, built the tomb in 1565. The first great example of a Mughal garden tomb and later emperor Shah Jahan get inspiration to build the incomparable Taj Mahal.

Day 3 By train to Amritsar
Drive to New Delhi railway station to catch train to Amritsar, Punjab and where you will experience the Indian train journey and meeting with local people. In Amritsar we explore local market.

Day 4 In Amritsar
We have a full day sightseeing including Golden temple main shrine. Shoes must be removed, feet washed and heads and arms covered before we can enter. Stunning beautiful the Golden temple is surrounded by tanks of holy water. The atmosphere is incredibly claimed as devotees stroll round the temple, sit and listen to the continuous recitals from the Granth Sahib. A visit to the huge community kitchen is a must to see the thousands of meals prepared by the volunteers every day for the pilgrims. If there is time we can also visit the nearby Jalianwala Garden, site of the notorious massacre under General Dyer in 1919, which led to 319 Sikh being shot by British troops. In the evening short drive to Wagha border 30km, to see the retreating ceremony of Indian and Pakistan soldier, which are unique its experiences.

Day 5 Drive to McLeod Ganj (Dharamsala)
Heading north to the foothills of the Himalaya and today is quite a long but spectacular drives as the road winds its way into hills and close to the hills, we feel the fresh cooler air. The Dhauladhar ranges make a stunning backdrop to the hill station of McLeod gang, Dharamsala. In the year 1959, the Dali Lama settles here, after fleeing from Tibet at the time of the Chinese invasion.

Day 6 Over night by train to Delhi
McLeod Ganj is the upper part of the Dharamsala and is the area with the greatest Tibetan influence. We have a full day to explore the town and visit the Dalai Lama temple and Norbu-linga institute. In the evening drive to Pathankot railway station to catch the overnight train to Delhi.

Day 7 Drive to Agra
Early morning arrived in Delhi, and after breakfast we drive to Agra. We visit Red fort built by Emperor Akbar, undoubtedly the greatest Mughal emperor in Indian history, is a magnificent site.

Day 8 Drive to Delhi
An early morning start as we begin our tour of the Taj Mahal, taking in the sunrise which is one of the most beautiful times to view the most famous monument in India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognised as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world heritage". Later we drive to Delhi and transfer to the International airport. (trip concludes)
